Uploading documents
Upload files, a whole folder or a zip. Your chief of staff reads every page, files it and drafts what it finds for you to confirm.
How to upload
- Open Documents and choose files, or drag a whole folder onto the card. A zip file works too.
- Up to 200 files at a time, 80 MB each. PDFs, images (PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP), text and CSV, and Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are accepted.
- Watch progress in Documents › Upload status.
- Confirm what your chief of staff found in Documents › Confirm what your chief of staff found. Nothing it drafts reaches your dashboard until you say yes.
What happens to your files
Every file is encrypted with your household's own key before it's stored, in private storage nobody else can open. Files are checked by their content, not just their name; risky types download only and never run in the browser.
Only an owner can start a large ingestion. Other members can watch progress and the review queue.
If you upload a newer copy of a document, the older version or draft is kept as history and not used for answers or the estate map.
