Connecting accounts

Banks and brokerages, insurance portals, drives and mail: what works today and what is still being switched on.

Open Connections in the sidebar. Every source is optional; anything you skip stays on your dashboard checklist. Some connections are still being switched on during early access. A card that says it isn't on yet will say so; upload documents in the meantime and nothing is lost.

Banks and brokerages

Statements work today: drop your latest statement PDFs from any custodian into Documents. Your chief of staff reads the balances and positions and drafts each account for you to confirm. Older months are kept as history.

Linking a bank directly runs through Plaid, read-only, so balances refresh on their own. Only an owner can link a bank. My Family Office can never move money through a linked account.

Insurance company websites

Your chief of staff can sign in to your insurance company's website in its own secure browser and download your policy documents into your library. The company may text or email you a code; enter it on screen when it comes and your chief of staff finishes the sign-in. It only reads and downloads.

Mail and drives

Reading Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox directly is read-only by design and is being switched on. Until it's on for you, the Connections page gives you ready-made mailbox searches: open the emails you want your chief of staff to read, save their attachments, and upload them. Your chief of staff reads only what you give it.
