Finding your way around

What each part of the sidebar does, where the chat is, and where settings, activity and the audit report live.

The sidebar

  1. Dashboard: net worth over time, what you own by type, upcoming bills, cash for the next weeks and the weekly briefing.
  2. Needs your answer: only the things that truly need you, such as approving a payment. The number next to it is how many are waiting; it is usually zero.
  3. Wealth: the balance sheet, investments, banking and cash, cash flow, and vehicles and collectibles. Use History & returns on Wealth, an account or a property to see its value over time and the gain since purchase.
  4. Real Estate, Insurance, Estate Planning and Bills & tax: each area's records with charts.
  5. Documents: everything you've uploaded or forwarded, searchable.
  6. News & Stocks: your public stocks with today's move, and headlines about what you own. Press News on a company to see only its headlines; All news goes back.
  7. Settings: household, sharing, alerts, statements, sign-in and security, signed-in devices, and Privacy & records (activity, the audit log, the audit report and connections).
  8. Help & support: articles, and a way to reach a person. A number appears next to it when support has replied to you.

Asking questions

Press Ask your chief of staff at the bottom right of any page, or use the ask box at the top. Ask about your own records (bills, cash, net worth, documents) or anything general. Answers about your records cite where each figure came from.

Asking never moves money. A payment you ask for becomes an approval request that needs your Face ID, passkey or authenticator before anything is paid.

Moved pages

Activity, the audit log, the audit report and connections now live under Settings, in Privacy & records. Their old addresses still work and take you there.
